Importing Digital Embellishments

Importing Embellishments into StoryBook Creator Plus 2.0 Software

After you have downloaded the embellishments of your choice follow these instructions to import into your StoryBook Creator Plus 2.0 Software

  1. Go to your Embellishments Panel on the right side of the screen.
  2. Click on Organise and then My Stuff at the bottom of the Embellishments Panel.
  3. If you haven’t created any Collections, click on File, then Add Collection. Name your collection and click OK.
  4. Select a collection in the list on the left. This will be the folder in which your embellishment will be located. Click on  Content then Add Embellishment.
  5. Browse to where your embellishment file was saved, select the embellishment(s) and click Get Selected Embellishments. Click Close when you are finished.
  6. Go to your Embellishments Panel and click on the drop down list under Package. You will see the name of the new collection folder you created in step 3. Select the collection. Any embellishments you’ve imported into this collection will display in the Embellishments Panel.
  7. Position your embellishment as desired on the page.

Importing Embellishments into StoryBook Creator Plus 3.0 Software

After you have downloaded the embellishments of your choice follow these instructions to import into your StoryBook Creator Plus 3.0 Software

  1. Open StoryBook Creator Plus 3.0 software and select Manage My Content
  2. In the Content panel click the drop-down arrow at My Stuff and select Add a user package to create a location in which to import the embellishment/s you downloaded (If you have not already created one or if you wish to add another package location)
  3. Click on the Package you created and click Embellishment on the Content Ribbon (The Get images from folders dialogue box appears)
  4. Follow your directory path (left hand panel) to where you saved the embellishment/s and click on those you wish to import. (select multiple embellishments by holding down the control key on your keyboard)
  5. Then click ‘Get images’
  6. The embellishments are now available in Content Manager, saved in your selected user package.

Using Embellishments in your StoryBook Creator Plus 3.0 projects

  1. Open your project Click Content (on the tabs panel)
  2. Click Embellishments
  3. Select drop down arrow under Package
  4. Scroll to My Stuff and expand
  5. Select your Package and double-click on an embellishment to add to page
